Overview:

PSCC Contracting Company is seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team of professionals. As a Structural Engineer at PSCC, you will play a critical role in the design, analysis, and execution of various construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing innovative solutions for complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and designing structures, including buildings, bridges, and other load-bearing structures, using relevant software and engineering principles.
  • Preparing structural calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for project proposals and submissions.
  • Collaborating with architects, civil engineers, construction managers, clients, and other project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Evaluating and selecting construction materials, processes, and equipment based on project requirements, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
  • Developing and implementing creative and innovative solutions to complex structural engineering challenges.
  • Preparing and presenting project reports, proposals, and technical documents to clients, team members, and regulatory authorities.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure adherence to professional standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the design and management of infrastructure projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, construction materials, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, as required.
