Overview:

PSCC Contracting Company is seeking a talented and experienced Architect Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team of professionals. As an Architect Engineer at PSCC, you will play an integral role in the planning, design, and execution of a variety of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing innovative design solutions for complex challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with clients and project stakeholders to determine project requirements, objectives, and design criteria.
• Developing conceptual designs and detailed architectural plans, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Rhino.
• Coordinating with structural, civil, and MEP engineers to integrate engineering systems into architectural designs seamlessly.
• Preparing project specifications, cost estimates, and construction schedules, and ensuring that projects adhere to established budgets and timelines.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Evaluating and selecting construction materials, processes, and equipment based on project requirements, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
• Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure adherence to professional standards and continuous improvement.
• Participating in project presentations and client meetings, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture and engineering, preferably in the design and management of infrastructure projects.
• Professional Architect (PA) or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
• Proficient in architectural design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction materials, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites, as required.
