Overview:

PSCC Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Technical Office Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team of professionals. As a Technical Office Civil Engineer at PSCC, you will play a crucial role in supporting our civil engineering projects by providing technical expertise, design support, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in technical office support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for civil engineering projects, including design review, project coordination, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that civil engineering work is completed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Prepare and review civil engineering design documents, such as structural drawings, site plans, and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations, technical data, and delivery schedules for civil engineering materials and equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, providing updates to management as required.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and as-built drawings for civil engineering installations, ensuring conformance with project specifications and design intent.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure adherence to professional standards and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and addressing any civil engineering-related issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on technical office support and project coordination.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, design standards, and industry regulations.
  • Proficient in the use of civil engineering design software, such as AutoCADRevit, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, as required.
