Overview:

PSCC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing innovative solutions for complex infrastructure projects. As a Civil Engineer at [Company Name], you will play a pivotal role in the design, planning, and execution of various construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing project requirements, preparing feasibility studies, and developing detailed project plans.
  • Designing and executing civil engineering projects, including but not limited to roads, bridges, water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, and site development.
  • Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, construction managers, clients, and government agencies, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Managing project resources, including budgets, schedules, and personnel, to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Evaluating and selecting construction materials, processes, and equipment based on project requirements, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
  • Preparing and presenting project reports, proposals, and technical documents to clients, team members, and regulatory authorities.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure adherence to professional standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
  • [7] years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the design and management of infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant civil engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, as required.
