Overview:
PSCC Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team of professionals. As a Project Manager at PSCC, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
- Oversee project budgets, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, addressing issues and concerns as they arise and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Foster a collaborative and safe work environment, implementing safety policies and procedures and conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Mentor and develop project team members, providing guidance and support to ensure continuous professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the contracting and construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documents.
- Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, as required.
